BioSo this is Live Journal?
My prime motivation for registering is to network with folk of a similar persuasion, motivation and morals.
Ignoring the 'day job', I consider myself an artist in all respects: writer, artist and musician. I have recently completed a 200,000 word epic fantasy novel, and am currently in the throes of finding a suitable publisher or agent. I have recently had a short story published in the Tolkien Society's bi-monthly journal, Amon Hen.
On the artwork front, I have had several pieces published (generally Tolkien-based fantasy), and have worked on logo designs, as well as mainstream illustration. As for the singing, I have only recently found my voice, but have already taken the lead role in such diverse musicals as Pirates of Penzance and Jesus Christ Superstar. I also play guitar, being self-tought. I have a good ear for musical form. My aim is to front a rock-based band, as soon as I have found a group of musicians who take their craft as seriously as I do.
So, there you have it: me in a nutshell.
